TABLE OF CONTENTS
Preamble
New features are regularly introduced into the Tes software, as well as software bugs fixed. This means users will need to regularly update the software.
Tes updates can be done:
- via a download or
- via the software.
Downloading via the Tes updates website
If schools want to use the Tes timetable for the first time, they would need to download the application from our site, or sometimes there may be some issues that stop you from being able to update your E10 / Edval Staff applications via the applications themselves. In this instance, you can download the latest version from the software icons below and replace them with the outdated applications.

If the above sign-in window does not pop up in your browser, that means it is either your proxy, school firewall, or browser pop-up blocker that blocks the pop-up. Please contact your IT to allow pop-up for the Tes download site.
E10.exe has upgraded its .NET Framework compatibility. Please make sure that your machine is running on the latest .NET Framework. Please click here to download the latest version. If you are using a .NET Framework version older than 4.8, then executing E10.exe would fail and not open.
Please refer to our Knowledge Base document, Tes Timetable for IT Managers, for more information on setting up the application, along with understanding our server addresses and minimum system requirements. Click here. Update via the software
E10 Tes Timetable
Anytime (recommended) - Tes will update to the latest version when it detects a new version is available. We recommend this as it ensures the latest version with fixes and new features is available.
Only if they are critical - Tes will only update to versions that are resolving major issues, such as a crash when opening the file.
Edval Staff
Important Information
WARNING
• Edval Staff cannot be stored or run from cloud storage (such as OneDrive, Google Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox, etc).
• There should only be one copy of Edval Staff on a school's network location that all authorised users can access. This will ensure updates flow correctly from Edval Staff to the .etz (timetable) file.
• Only share the school's network location's shortcut of Edval Staff to users. Do not distribute separate copies.
• Check with your IT department if school policies prevent .exe files from being saved or run from the school’s network.
• Ensure all staff with access to Edval Staff have been trained on how to use it.
