Modified on Thu, 14 Aug at 12:54 AM

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Preamble

It is possible to import the elective data for courses and students from one .etz file into another.

Alert

E10 will import and overwrite the elective data into the new file.

Import from another E10 .etz file

  • Navigate to File > Import from... > Edval .etz file > Elective data.
  • Locate the saved .etz file from which you want to import the elective data and select 'Open'.
  • Select one or more datasets for the elective data that you want to import.

E10 will display a successful import message.

Check the imported data

Navigate to Lines > Elective data > Courses and Lines > Elective data > Students to check the imported data.

If the import has not occurred as expected, or errors are discovered at this point, the file may be 'reverted to saved file', edit data if necessary and imported again.

Alert

Whilst most of the course data is imported, some fields are not, so must be updated manually, eg #C, Lines, Rules, Fee, links etc.
