Preamble
E10 has the capability to produce an export of OFCOS and ENCOS reports for upload to SCSA. The steps below outline the procedures required to set this up in the ETZ file.
Steps
Step 1: Enter School's 4 digit SCSA ID
- Go to Setup > School info
- Enter your school's 4 digit code as supplied by SCSA in Govt School Code.

Step 2: Check the Official Course Codes
The official course codes must be present in E10 before classes can be matched to the official course. These may already be present in your file or you might need to delete unwanted data or import the required codes.
- Go to Setup > Subjects
- Navigate to the blue right-hand action bar and click on the Official course data icon.
The Official courses table may be empty, in which case you will need to import the codes,
Or you might need to delete unwanted data,
Or the codes may be present in your file.
If the Official courses table is empty, proceed to step c.
If the courses table has unwanted data, delete each code first and then proceed to step c. - Navigate to the blue right-hand action bar and click on the Match subjects to official courses icon.
- You will receive a prompt asking which year levels you wish to map. Tick Years 11 and 12
- Select Ok.
- Select Do import
The official courses will appear as per the Official courses image above showing the correct course codes.
Step 3: Enter official course codes into Class data
- Go to Year 12 Class data
- Display the Official courses field and select either 'Official course name' or 'Official course code'
- Enter the official course data next to each relevant class, the Official course column will display either the official course name or official course code, according to your previous selection.
- Return to Setup > Subjects > Action bar: Official courses to view the courses and their associated classes.
- If the Head of Learning (Teacher in charge) is required as the contact teacher, enter the teacher code in the 'Head of Learning' column.
Step 4: Run the SIRS (WA) report
Go to Reports > Exports > SIRS (WA) export, check that your 4-digit School Provider Code is correct (you are also able to enter your SCSA code here) select Ok.


The reports will be saved to an Exports folder in the same location as your ETZ file.

The OFCOS and ENCOS reports will display in the correct formats needed for upload into SCSA.
