Important Notice Regarding Timetable Syncing to Sentral

When attempting to sync data from Timetable Daily to Sentral, you may encounter a warning message if the selected date range exceeds 30 days for the option Publishing the Daily timetable (Recommended). This limitation is in place to ensure optimal performance and system reliability in Sentral.

To proceed, you have the following options:

  1. Reduce the selected date range to fewer than 30 days, in accordance with the recommended settings.

  2. Contact Sentral Support to request the deactivation of this restriction for your school, should a longer date range be necessary.

Please consider these options carefully to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted syncing process.

Notes

Set RPC services to Available and then click on Apply Changes. (This may take a few minutes to take affect)
Ensure the system selected is Sentral
  1. The format of the server address for Sentral is https://web1.xxxxx-h.schools.nsw.edu.au/rpc/liss please ensure your server address follows this format.
  2. You may choose whether or not to exclude yard duties/study classes/on-calls by either ticking the box or leaving the box empty.
  3. The Auto sync section is deselected by default. If you wish Timetable Daily to sync room changes and/or cyclical timetable changes from the etz file automatically then select one or both of these options.  For more information on this feature please see the following document:  Automated Instant Synchronisation
Alert

The Server address, username, and password are all supplied by Sentral, please contact Sentral if you are unsure what should be input into any of these fields.
Alert

Sentral does not accept room bookings made through Daily's Room Booking feature, and only receives rooming information related to room changes, room swaps and additional rooms made to existing classes.

Once the correct data has been input you may 'Test connection' to verify whether Sentral accepts the configuration settings. If the settings are accepted then you may select the 'Save' option to save these settings. If the settings are not accepted you will need to contact Sentral to confirm whether your Sentral-specific settings are correct, otherwise you may lodge a ticket to determine why the settings have not been accepted.
