Timetable Daily: Room and Equipment Booking Permissions

The ability for teachers to book rooms and equipment in Timetable Daily requires their assigned role to have certain permissions.
These permissions are included by default in the Permanent Teacher role but can be removed if not required.

Permissions for Booking both Rooms and Equipment

If teachers need the ability to book both rooms and equipment, they require the 'Edit own rooms and equipment' permission.



Permission to Book Rooms only

If teachers need the ability to book rooms but not equipment, they require the 'Edit own rooms' permission only.



Permission to book Equipment only

If teachers need the ability to book equipment but not rooms, they require the 'Edit own equipment' permission only.



Permission to View Booking Reports

To view Room Booking and/or Equipment booking reports, a person's role must include the 'View equipment booking reports' and/or the 'View room bookings reports' permissions.



Adding or Deleting Role Permissions

To add permissions to a role or to remove permissions from a role go to Admin > Roles, click the edit button at the end of the row of the required role,  select or deselect the relevant permissions and click 'Save'.
