The paid cover option could be used for an alternative cover type if needed.
Assigning a Paid cover
To assign a Paid cover to a teacher, the 'Paid' checkbox must be selected in the Alternatives screen for the class requiring cover.
Once the box has been checked, a teacher selected to cover the class will be credited with a Paid cover, regardless from which tab they are selected.
Where Paid covers are displayed
Paid cover will be displayed for the selected teacher in the following places:
- on the Daily Bulletin in the 'Credit' column, provided that 'Show cover credit' is selected before generating the bulletin.
- on the teachers 2 week covers summary in the alternatives panel with a $ symbol
- on the Statistics report in the Number Paid and Paid Credit columns
- on the Teacher covers summary report, with the $ symbol
- On the new Paid Covers report, accessible via 'Daily > Reports > Paid covers'. See below.
Paid Covers Report
The new Paid Covers report, which can be filtered by teacher name, will give the following information over the selected date range:
The Paid covers (minutes) column displays the total time in minutes of Paid cover the teacher has done over the selected date range.
The Number Paid column displays the total number of periods of paid cover the teacher has done over the selected date range.
The Paid Credit column displays the total number of credits applied to the periods of Paid cover the teacher has done over the selected date range.
