The Meadowbanks feature is designed to manage the end of year period where Year 12 classes finish earlier than other classes in order to allow the student's study time prior to exams. This typically means that Year 12 teachers then have a lighter load than their non Year 12 teaching colleagues. These Year 12 teachers become available at this time to take covers, but depending on local agreements, the number of covers a teacher can receive in place of lost classes differs.
Timetable Daily can manage these 'Meadowbank' type covers independently from other cover types.

Schools using the Term 4 'Meadowbanks' rollover feature in the timetable.etz file cannot use the 'Meadowbanks' feature in Timetable Daily. They do NOT complement each other - it is a case of using one or the other. For information on the Term 4 rollover please see the following Knowledge Base articles:
1. Set up a Meadowbanks type event in Timetable Daily
Timetable Daily > Home > Events
- Create new event
- Select the Event type as 'Meadowbanks'
- Add the relevant year level by selecting 'Whole Year Group' only. All classes for that Year level will be cancelled.
- If composite classes exist within the selected year level and these need to remain running, please go to Daily > Settings > Cover options and tick the box for 'Meadowbanks will keep composite classes running'
2. Cover classes with teacher from the Meadowbank category
Timetable Daily > Home > Covers
- Click on a class requiring cover to bring up the Alternatives pop up
- Choose a teacher from the Meadowbanks category
Important Notes:
- Teachers will not be taken from the Meadowbanks category when performing an auto staff.
- Teachers will appear for a Meadowbanks cover if they lost a class due to a Meadowbanks event on the day the class was lost. That is, they will not appear for Meadowbanks covers on days where they were not teaching a class that has been cancelled due to a Meadowbanks event
- Meadowbanks covers are a separate and independent credit accounting category. If staff lost classes to a Meadowbanks event, and are also usually Underload, then they will appear in BOTH cover categories. The Daily Organiser can choose which credit category they wish to apply to the cover by selecting them from the relevant tab.
- Teachers who can have a Meadowbanks cover assigned to them will show in each tab with an asterisk next to their name to highlight this option.
- The Meadowbanks % column counts covers with respect to the covers given for covers lost for the entire Meadowbanks event period.
- There is no option to cap the percentage of Meadowbanks covers for each teacher. As the Meadowbanks cover type will always be given manually, it is up to the Daily Organiser to monitor this when assigning covers over the period.
- In association with exams - the Cancellation event automatically created during exam setup MUST be changed from event type "CANCELLATION" to event type "MEADOWBANKS".
- Meadowbanks created in ETZ (timetable file) will not reflect in the 'Meadowbanks' column in Daily but will reflect under the 'On call' column in Daily on the 'Alternatives' window.
