Preamble

Timetabling data that exists in Timetable files is usually sent on to one or more other non-Tes systems, such as student learning management systems, reporting systems, administration systems, and many more. The Tes integration team works with other systems to make sure that the data required to be sent is in the correct format.

This document can be referenced for:

1. New school file set up
2. Synchronisation processes

WHile Tes takes all care to ensure any mention of the other system is correct and up to date, it is the user's responsibility to check with the other system prior to an initial check sync. If the user becomes aware of any changes to the other system, we would very much appreciate this feedback.

E10: Sync setup for Xuno

E10 supports the syncing of data to Xuno. The following is what can be sent to Xuno through the sync:

1. Date-to-Cycle-day mapping
   
2. Teachers
   
3. Class lists
   
4. Bell Times
   
5. Classes
   
6. Cyclical Timetable
   
7. Daily Timetable

Adding Xuno as a sync system

To add Xuno as a sync system so you can start syncing:

1. Go to File > Synchronise > Configure > Sync tab
   
2. Click on the '+' button
   
3. Select 'Xuno'  from the drop-down menu that is added.

Configuring Xuno to Sync

1. Go to File > Synchronise > Configure
2. Go to the 'Connection' tab
3. Change the 'Filter' on the top right to 'Xuno'
4. Enter the URL, Username and Password provided by Xuno
5. If you have a proxy server, select 'Provide proxy credentials'
6. Click 'Test connection' - If there are no issues. 'The connection seems fine' will appear. If an error pops up, please check the URL, username and password were correctly entered.

Syncing to Xuno 

1. Go to File > Synchronise >Sync Now
2. Select 'Xuno' from the 'Filter' drop-down on the top right
3. Click on Basic/Advanced sync
4. Set the date range and what you would like to sync
5. Click 'Sync'
