E10: Sync setup for Xuno
E10 supports the syncing of data to Xuno. The following is what can be sent to Xuno through the sync:
- Date-to-Cycle-day mapping
- Teachers
- Class lists
- Bell Times
- Classes
- Cyclical Timetable
- Daily Timetable
Adding Xuno as a sync system
To add Xuno as a sync system so you can start syncing:
- Go to File > Synchronise > Configure > Sync tab
- Click on the '+' button
- Select 'Xuno' from the drop down menu that is added.
Configuring Xuno to Sync
Next we need to configure the sync credentials for the sync. Please contact Xuno for these credentials if you do not have them already.
- Go to File > Synchronise > Configure
- Go to the 'Connection' tab
- Change the 'Filter' on the top right to 'Xuno'
- Enter the URL, Username and Password provided by Xuno
- If you have a proxy server - select 'Provide proxy credentials'
- Click 'Test connection' - If there are no issues. 'The connection seems fine' will appear. If an error pops up, please check the URL, username and password was correctly entered.
Syncing to Xuno
- Go to File > Synchronise >Sync Now
- Select 'Xuno' from the 'Filter' drop down on the top right
- Click on Basic/Advanced sync
- Set date range and what you would like to sync
- Click 'Sync'
The Basic sync will publish the 'Classes', 'Class lists' and 'Timetable' to Xuno.
The Advanced sync gives you the options to select what you would like to publish to Xuno.
