Timetables can be viewed online at my.edval.education. Web access is available to all schools, including those not licensed for any of the Tes Timetable cloud products - Daily, Choice or Interviews. Default permissions allow teachers to see all timetables but students will only be able to view their own timetable.
Adminstrator WebCodes
The first step in setting up access to web timetables is to request an Administrator WebCode. This is done by emailing edval-license@tes.com. Once an Administrator webcode is created, the online dataset will be available for the Administrator to login.
Syncing the Timetable to the Edval Web Server
Before timetables can be viewed online, the timetable etz file needs to be synced to the Edval web server.
For information on how to sync from E10 see this document. Uploading Timetable data from E10

Information regarding access to online timetables can be emailed so it is recommended that all teachers and students have an email address added to their record in the etz file before syncing. This can be done manually via Teacher data and Student data, however, a more efficient method would be to populate the email fields via an import.
For information on importing teacher data see this document: Import teacher data from a spreadsheet
For information on importing student data see this document: Import student data and class lists from a spreadsheet.
Date Mapping
After syncing the timetable to the Edval web server, date mapping should be completed prior to accessing timetables, to ensure correct information regarding holidays, rotational classes and study classes display correctly on timetables. For schools not licensed for Daily, Date mapping can be found under the 'Setting' menu.
For information on Date mapping, see this document: Date Mapping
Teacher WebCodes
If your school is interested into using single sign on functionality and avoid using below approach on logging with webcodes then refer to this Knowledge Base document on Single Sign On here.
The sync process will create user profiles for all teachers who are in the timetable file, will generate the WebCodes that will allow them to login and will assign each one with the 'Permanent teacher' role that will allow them to access timetables online. To email WebCodes to teachers:
- login to my.edval.education with the Administrator WebCode and navigate to Admin > Users
- select all teachers who require access to online timetables and then use the 'Send WebCode' button in the Action panel to send the WebCodes via email.
Student WebCodes
The sync process will also create WebCodes for students and these can be emailed in the same way as for teachers.
To email webcodes to students:
- login to my.edval.education with the Administrator password and navigate to Admin > Students
- select all students who require access to online timetables and then use the 'Send/Resend WebCode' button under Actions to send the WebCodes via email.
Note that WebCodes for students can be viewed by selecting the "Show Webcodes" tickbox under View Options.
Enabling Settings to View Timetables
For students and teachers to be able to view timetables online there are two settings that need to be enabled.
These settings are found under Admin > Settings.
1) Show timetable to students
2) Show timetable to teachers
As mentioned above, students will only have access to view their own timetable but the default 'Permanent Teacher' role will allow teachers to view all timetables.
For information on how teachers can view, print and export the various timetable types online please see this document: View Timetables and Duty Roster
