Preamble
This document will explain how to assign two or three teachers at once to the same class using the Sub-classes feature in Classes > Class data (F6). A sub-class needs to be created first before a different teacher can be assigned to the same class at once.
Manage sub-classes in Classes > Class data (F6)
This feature is designed to be used when:
- a specialist room is needed for a double;
- a course needs to be separated into distinct parts (PDHPE = PDH + PE);
- a course is rotated through specialist teachers (Mandatory Technology).
Note: Splitting classes AFTER construction may give a better staffing solution than pre-determining splits in Class data (F6).
Manage sub-classes can be used for:
- Different components (PDHPE = PDH + PE)
- Different teachers at once
- Different rooms at once
- Different things in different rotations
