How to use 2 monitors for double the screen space

Modified on Thu, 14 Aug at 12:37 AM

More than anyone else in the school, the timetabler has a need for large amounts of screen space. Large monitors are no longer expensive, and it is often useful to have a second monitor either to share your screen with others on the other side of your desk. The second screen can also be useful for data entry, enabling the user to look at a school document and enter data from it into Edval. You can set up an additional monitor to achieve this, or extend Edval onto two screens.

When you open Edval, it will be maximised to one monitor or the other.  To extend Edval to use both monitors, you will need to un-maximise it, and then grab the window border or the bottom right-hand corner of the window, and extend it over the full 2 screens.
