‘Daily > Home’ is where  Daily Organisers do most of their work. It contains five tabs where the daily changes for a given date are managed.

Home Page Tabs

Covers  – Classes or rooms that need a cover (Timetable Daily: Covers Tab)

Events  – School activities (e.g. exams, excursions, bulletin notes, etc.) (Timetable Daily: Events Tab)

Absences  – Staff absences (Timetable Daily: Absences Tab)

Room swaps  - Room swaps (Timetable Daily: Room Swaps Tab)

Casual Requests - SMS Casual Requests (Timetable Daily: SMS Casuals feature)

Options
The column on the right hand side contains the ‘Options’ menu, which shows all options and actions available while in each of the four tabs. This menu can be collapsed to expand the main screen view using the >>.  Please see the individual tab documents listed above for further information.

The Date Selector

At the top of the ‘Options’ menu is the ‘Date’, which shows the calendar date for the selected day. Timetable Daily will automatically load on today’s date.  However, if you prefer, you can click on the date cell and select a new date from the calendar selector or cycle through the days using the arrows < >. At any time you can return to today’s date using ‘Today’.

If there’s any doubt about the accuracy of the ‘Dates & Cycles’ information, check that the date panel is displaying the correct cycle-day e.g. MonA. If the cycle day is not correctly mapped to the calendar date, you need to adjust this in the ‘Daily > Settings > Date Mapping’ tab. Occasionally the wrong weeks are mapped in the calendar by users with two week timetables, so make sure it is not just Monday but Monday of the right week (for example) when checking the day/date linking.
