Preamble
The information contained within this article is a collaborative effort between Tes and Atomi. If there is anything missing or requires change, kindly get in touch with Atomi.
Tes timetable and Atomi integrate using a .csv file. Tes timetable E10 outputs the following data per class to a file called atomi_import.csv:
Class name (code)
Year
Subject
Teacher email
Student emails
This file can be used to import this data into Atomi.
Configuring Timetable file (E10)
Make sure that your region in 'Setup > School info > Admin' is to your correct region and not 'Unknown' or 'Other'. The Atomi sync will not appear in sync drop-down if the incorrect region is selected.
Go to File > Synchronise > Configure
Click the plus and select “Atomi” from the new dropdown

Go to the ‘Connection’ sub-tab.
Click ‘Browse’ to configure a destination folder. This is where the atomi_import.csv file will be placed.
Optionally, you can check the “Sync each time you save” option for the file to be exported every time
you save in Tes.

Exporting from Timetable file (E10)
Atomi needs emails addresses to be populated for the export to work. Please go into 'Students > Student data' and 'Teacher > Teacher data' to ensure the email addresses are populated. If any are missing, an warning will pop up when the export is done to alert which teachers/students email are missing.
First make sure that you’ve completed the configuration steps above
Go to File > Synchronise > Sync Now
Select “Atomi” from the dropdown in the top-right corner
Click “Create TT publish file” and select the rotations you wish to export.
You can now find the atomi_import.csv file in the folder that you specified earlier

Importing of this data into Atomi is handled internally. Please send the created atomi_import.csv to your Atomi account manager or support@getatomi.com.
