When duties for a particular period, day or date range are not required, they can be cancelled via a cancellation event.
To cancel one or more duties, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Daily > Home > Events
- Create an event and make the event type 'Cancellation'
- Select the date or date range for which you want to cancel the duties
- The teacher and room panels will be hidden as these are not required. Expand the Students panel so that the Meetings Year level can be seen.
- Expand the Meetings year level where you will find a list of duties. Select the ones you wish to cancel.
- Save the event.
When duties are cancelled they will no longer appear on the covers panel when teachers are absent or on an event.
Cancelled duties appear on teacher timetables with a cross in the top right hand corner indicating that they have been cancelled.
