A new feature has been introduced to assist schools when running their Interviews events online. When selecting to run an online event, the rooms on parent and teacher schedules will be replaced with a teacher's individual meeting ID or link.
Steps to create an Online Interviews event
1. When setting up an event, in the Details section, there will be an option to select an event type. There are three event types available - Face-to-face, Online and Hybrid. Select 'Online' from the drop down list.

2. In the Rooms section, a single option, No rooms required, will appear and will be selected. Note that for online events, the meeting link or ID will replace the room information on the schedule in the mobile parent view.

3. In the Teachers section, the rooms field will be hidden and a new field, Online Meeting, will be displayed. This is an editable field where individual teacher meeting IDs or links can be added.

This field can be populated several ways.
- Manually via the teacher's User profile. To do this, go to Admin > Users and select the edit icon for the required teacher. Select the 'Interview' tab, enter the meeting ID in the Generic Meeting ID field and save. Adding a meeting ID or link here will automatically populate this field for all online Interviews events.
- Manually via the specific Interviews event. Entering a link or ID here, or editing the generic meeting ID that was automatically populated, will be for that specific event only. All other events will retain the Generic Meeting ID added via the user's profile.
- Via an import within a specific event using an Excel (.xlsx) file.The format of the import file is shown below.To import meeting links, click on 'Import Meeting Links' in the Teachers tab of the required event.This will open the import dialog where the file can be uploaded. Locate the file or drop the file into the upload area and select 'Upload all files'. Information will appear if any errors exist in the import file. These should be corrected before proceeding. Click on 'Update' when there are no errors. This will populate meeting links for those teachers who were included on the import file.

4. Parent and Teacher schedules sent via document templates that contain the Parent schedule table or Teacher schedule table will automatically include the online meeting link. Users do not need to update any existing templates.
