For booking mode events with multiple sessions, after teachers mark parents as 'No show', an email can be sent to these parent offering them the opportunity to book into one of the remaining sessions for that event. This document will outline the process for communicating this information.
Marking Parents as 'No Show'
When a teacher logs in, selects the current event and views the 'My Interviews' tab, they will see their schedule. For each interview there is an option to tick a 'No show' box for when a parent fails to turn up for their interview. This step is necessary if these parents are to be sent a reminder email.

Sending the Reminder Invitation Email to No Show Parents
Once all of the 'No-show' parents have been flagged by teachers, the Interviews Administrator can send an email to each of these parents, inviting them to re-book on the remaining day/days of the event, by following these steps:
- If you do not have a specific document template for this email, go to Interviews > Document templates and create a custom email template. Cloning an existing Invitation email template then editing is probably the most efficient way to do this.
- Go to Interviews > Events and select the required event.
- Select 'Send/Print reminders to no-show parents' from the Actions panel.
- This will open a window as shown below. Select the required template, select 'Send Emails' and add a 'Reply to' email address if required. If left blank, this will default to edval-noreply@tes.com.
- Click 'Send' to open the template and, if satisfied that it is correct, click 'Ok' to send the email.

Printing the Reminder Invitation for No-show Parents
If a PDF version of the reminder invitation is required, for step 4 above, select the required letter template, 'Print PDF' and then 'Print'.

Note: The event must be placed in the 'Open for Booking' status to enable parents to re-book their interviews.
