Preamble

Creating a Rostered Time Off (RTO) roster ensures that teachers who have rostered time off are accurately recorded into the timetable. This allows Tes Timetable to plan their non-teaching activities and enable the school to have a smooth timetable.
One or more teachers can be assigned to each period of the cycle.
RTO periods will show on teacher timetables and in also Timetable Daily.

1. Assign RTO Loads

Teachers > RTO roster > RTO loads tab
Enter the number of periods each teacher will be rostered off into the '#RTO' column, or alternatively, bulk set the number of RTO sessions via the action bar.

2. Schedule RTOs

Auto-schedule RTOs by going to the Action bar on the right and select ‘Schedule from scratch’.
Alternatively, manually assign by dragging each RTO from the bottom of the screen to a location on the schedule. Clash spots will show as per other timetable views.

Modifying the roster
Drag and drop teachers from one slot to another. Clash spots will show as per other timetable views.

Clearing the roster
Teachers > RTO roster > Action: Unschedule RTO: All Teachers
Clears the current RTO roster.
