E10 - ADMIN Settings - Overview

Preamble

This article will outline the information contained in ADMIN Settings.


ADMIN Settings

The Settings tab in the ADMIN Menu section contains six (6) subsets / areas in which school data can be edited. Certain issues within various screens of the  .etz timetable file can stem from incorrect data entered in Settings.


1. The File tab allows for the current rotation and the number of rotations for the year to be set. The 'Headstart file' setting for whole school transition programs can be selected in this tab. (For more information refer to: E10 ADMIN: Settings: File)

2. The Teachers tab allows for teacher loads and period information to be determined. Unavailabilities from other .etz files can also be imported from this tab. (For more information refer to: E10 - ADMIN Settings: Teachers)

3. The Rooms tab lists all the available rooms at the school and allows for rooming priorities, room overcrowding and room lending between campuses to be set. (For more information refer to: E10 - ADMIN Settings: Rooms)

4. The Classes tab allows priority classes to be set as some subjects are considered to be more important than others. (For more information refer to: E10 - ADMIN Settings: Classes)

5. The Notes tab provides a blank canvas for notes about the timetable to be included. (For more information refer to: E10 - ADMIN Settings: Notes)

6. The Updates tab is where all E10 updates can be found and automatically installed. (For more information refer to: E10 - ADMIN Settings: Updates)
