E10 - Choice: Basic html to use on forms and emails

Preamble

When entering text that will appear on student forms and emails, some basic html may be used where you would like to customise the look.

The places where basic html may be used includes:

Lines > Edval Choice > Configure forms > Notes: appears on the right hand side of the screen when students are logged into Choice
Lines > Edval Choice > Configure forms > Text upon submission: appears on the submission form (either printed or via email)
Lines > Edval Choice > Publish > Email WebCodes: appears on the email sent to students containing their WebCode

<b> bold </b>	Make text between tags bold
<i> italic </i>	Make text between tags italic
<a href="url"> link name </a>	Create a link to another page or website

Example 1:

The image on the left below shows text, with some html, entered into Lines > Edval Choice > Configure forms > Notes.

The image on the right shows how it appears for students when they have logged in:

The image on the left below shows text, with some html, entered into Publish > Email WebCodes.

Text used in etz file (may be copied, pasted and edited in your etz file):

STEP 2: Enter the following WebCode: <webcode>

STEP 3: Select subjects you want, in order of your PREFERENCE (Important).

STEP 4: Click Submit.

STEP 5: Print your form, have it signed by parents / carers and return to Front Office.

Refer to Choice: Communicate to students via Email or Printed letter via the web. This function enables significantly more customisation of letters/emails.
