Configuring E10 to Daymap synchronisation
Go to File > Synchronise > Configure
Select the ‘Sync’ sub-tab
Click the '+' and select "Daymap (LISS)" from the dropdown and click 'Configure'.
Go to the ‘Connection’ sub-tab
Ensure that “Daymap” is selected in the top-right corner
Input your credentials. Daymap will provide you with the Daymap URL, Username and Password.
Proxy - Not usually required. See your school network administrator if a proxy message appears after testing your connection.
8. Go to the ‘Other sub-tab and change any options to your preference. You might find the ‘Sync timetable and class-lists each time you save’ option to be helpful. This will send only the timetable and class membership data to Daymap each time you save the file.
10. Most of your configuration information is stored in the .etz file, so you should save your file now for this information to be remembered.
Syncing in Timetable File
Basic Sync
Basic sync is used for general syncing. A basic sync will:
Publish Class lists to Daymap
Publish Timetable to Daymap
To perform a Basic sync:
Go to File > Synchronise > Sync Now, and select the ‘Basic’ sub-tab
Ensure “Daymap” is selected from the dropdown in the top-right corner
Input the date range you wish to update the Daymap data in and select the rotation you wish to sync
Click “Go” to sync
Advanced Sync
Advanced sync is used to publish specific parts of your data to Daymap. An Advanced sync also allows you to download rooms and teachers from Daymap, and publish bell times to Daymap.
To perform an Advanced sync:
Go to File > Synchronise > Sync Now, and select the ‘Advanced’ sub-tab
Ensure “Daymap” is selected from the dropdown in the top-right corner
Select which data you which to sync with Daymap
Input the date range you wish to update the Daymap data in and select the rotation you wish to sync
Click “Go” to sync
