How to: Import Sport course codes ready for student electives

Set up a spreadsheet with Code and Subject description for each sport activity on offer.

In the timetable etz, in File > Year levels, create a new year level called SPT or Sport.

In Lines > Elective data, select (manage datasets) from the second dropdown

1. create a new dataset Sport_elecs to hold the Sport courses

2. add a description

3. set the Type to Sport

4.  include all relevant student year levels and the new year level SPT.

Select File > Import data > Elective course data and the correct dataset when prompted.

Check the grey column headers. 

Press Go.  

When prompted, choose Merge to avoid deleting existing data or Clear & Overwrite to replace any existing data.

Edval will display the Lines > Elective data screen with imported sport courses.
