Maintenance status is applicable to both Timetabling and Booking modes.
The Maintenance status can be used if the Administrator needs to shut down the event completely to block Families or Teachers from viewing or interacting with the event. This may be because data errors have been found and are being fixed, and the event must be put on hold for a time.
A custom message may be entered.

Once the Administrator has finished fixing the errors, the event can be edited to the relevant status.
