Timetable Interviews: Teacher as parent bookings

Preamble

Timetable Interviews has the functionality to link the existing teacher as parent. The booking preference will facilitate the administrator to allow teachers as parents booking their child's interview while the event is on Teacher preferences or they can set it so teachers as parents can only book.

Step 1 - Linking the Teacher to the Family

Ensure you have the teacher linked to the correct Family within your Family Data.

Go to Admin
Family Data
Find the Family and edit
Link the teacher

Step 2 - Booking Preference

Within the Interviews event there is an option called 'Teacher-as-parent bookings'.

The drop down gives you two options:

Teachers may not book early - The teacher/parent will only be able to book at the same time as every other parent when the event status is on parent preference.
Teachers may book before parents - The teacher/parent has the option to book before all the other parents while the event is on teacher preference.

Step 3 - Teacher login as a Parent

In order for a teacher to make their bookings, they will need to login as a parent.

The teacher does not use their teacher webcode to login, but instead uses the Family webcode.

This webcode can be sent via the 'Admin > Family Data' menu by pressing the 'Resend Webcode' button on the right hand side of the screen.
