Student WebCodes are required by students to access their online timetable, to access Timetable Choice to make subject selections and to view the 'My Subjects' page to see what subjects they have been granted after line generation has been finalised.
Generating Student WebCodes
Students Webcodes are generated when the timetable etz file is synced to the Edval web server. Subsequent syncs will not change any generated WebCodes but will generate WebCodes for any students added since the previous sync. Syncing Timetable Choice forms will also generate WebCodes.

Schools using E10 Timetable but not any of our online modules (Timetable Choice, Timetable Daily, Timetable Interviews), can still access the student screen to view and email WebCodes. They will need to request an admin WebCode via edval-license@tes.com and, once the WebCode is received, will need to sync their timetable file to Edval web server by following the instructions here.
Viewing Student WebCodes
To view student WebCodes, login to my.edval.education with your administrator WebCode issued by the Timetable license team, go to Admin > Students and tick 'Show WebCodes' under 'View options'.
This will insert a column in which the WebCodes will be displayed.
The list of students can be filtered by using the name, code and year filters.
Emailing Student Webcodes
To email student WebCodes, all selected students must have an email address.
Student email addresses must be added in the timetable .etz file then synced to the Edval web server.
For information on adding student email addresses please refer to these documents:

WARNING: The emailing of WebCodes will fail for all selected students if any of the selected students do not have an email address.
To Send/Resend student WebCodes:
1) Select the required students, ensuring that all selected students have an email address.
2) Select 'Send/Resend WebCode'
3) Confirm the email by selecting 'Yes' on the confirmation screen
The email that is sent to students will show a message similar to the following:
To Issue/Reissue student WebCodes:
1) Select the required students, ensuring that all selected students have an email address.
2) Select 'Issue/Reissue WebCode'
A) If 'Yes' is selected with out the 'Email student' option not tick then the student won't get their new Webcode
B) If the option 'Email student' is tick then the student will receive their new WebCode in their email.

In order for the students to be able to see their timetable online, please login to my.edval.education, go to Admin > Settings and select the "Show timetable to students" tick box. Further details can be found here.

When selecting students using a filter such as Year level, it is important that you are showing all selected students on the one page before emailing. This is done by selecting 'All' in the 'Per page' dropdown at the bottom of the table, as shown below.
Exporting Student Data including Webcodes
Student WebCodes can be included in the export of Student data.
To export a .csv file containing student WebCodes:
1) Select 'Export CSV' from the Actions panel.
2) In the confirmation window ensure that 'Include Student WebCode' is selected.
3) Select 'Export'
This will export all students (not just the selected students) as a .csv file.

Please refer here on how users can view their timetable once they have got access to the module.
