The Teachers tab lists a teacher’s Code, Name and Email address (if the email address has been included in the timetable file).
Assign rooms for Face-to-face and Hybrid Events
Assigning rooms for face-to-face and hybrid events can be done a number of ways:
- Manually assign a room for some or all teachers from the room drop down
- Manually assign a room for multiple teachers: select the room, select the teachers, then select Assign room.

Add Meeting IDs or Links for Online Events
When the event type is Online and 'No rooms required' has been selected in the Room tab, the room field will be replaced by an Online Meeting field. This is an editable field where Individual Teacher Meeting IDs or links can be added or edited. Currently this field can be populated in two ways:
1) Via the teacher's User profile. To do this go to Admin > Users and select the edit icon for the required teacher. Select the 'Interview' tab, enter the meeting ID in the Generic Meeting ID field and save. Adding a meeting ID or link here will automatically populate this field for all online Interviews events.

2) Via the specific Interviews event. Entering a link or ID here, or editing the generic meeting ID that was automatically populated, will be for that specific event only. All other events will retain the Generic Meeting ID added via the user's profile.
This field can be populated manually or via an import. See the following for instructions on how to import: Importing Meeting Links

Note that for Hybrid events, both the 'Room' field and the 'Online Meeting' field will be displayed.
Manage teacher breaks:

Provided that you have more than one break in your session, you can dictate who takes their breaks and when, this can be done manually or automatically. In the later case the auto assign will stagger them as pictured above, however if you enter a pattern and the auto assign function will attempt to repeat it down the list.
+Add/Remove teachers:

Remove any teachers who will not be involved in the event by unchecking them.
If any families have entered preferences to see the teacher, the number will display next to their name.
Be warned that removing teachers after preferences and scheduling will invalidate their dependent selections.

If the Interview event has already been set up online prior to adding/removing teachers, students and classes to the .etz file, a 'yellow warning icon' will appear on the Events page to alert the Administrator to a change in data received from the ETZ file post a sync from the ETZ file to the Edval web server.
The Administrator will also receive an email of a change of data.
If the Administrator is confident that theses changes can be accepted, edit the Interview event, and select 'Yes, accept changes'.
Please make sure that you do not accept the changes if the Event status is Parents preference, Generate schedule and Open to book

Renaming a teachers or changing a teacher's code will not affect the ongoing event and will not result in the 'yellow warning icon'.
Email addresses must first be added to the timetable file and synced to the Edval Webserver to use the email Teachers functions.
