TABLE OF CONTENTS

The outgoing students in Year 12 in NSW are now sitting their final exams, known as the HSC.
These Yr12 students are no longer attending school, so their lucky teachers now have nothing to do! (Dream on)
What does the school want to do with the timetable?
Consider Meadowbanks
- See attached document for definition of a Meadowbank. Information provided courtesy of the NSW Teachers Federation.
- The Edval Daily Meadowbanks event require that the outgoing Yr12 classes are still on the timetable etz.
- For that reason, Option 1 is incompatible with options 2 and 3 below.
- Choose carefully.
Choose only one of the following:
1. No change to the timetable etz - use Edval Daily instead
- Yr12 students stay in Yr12 Student data and Yr12 classes stay on the timetable.
- Create a Meadowbank event in Edval Daily which cancels all of the Yr12 classes and makes the Yr12 teachers available to cover other teachers.
- Please refer to our Knowledge Base document Edval Daily Meadowbanks on how to set up and use the Edval Daily Meadowbank feature.
2. Replace Yr12 classes with Meadowbanks (On-calls) on the timetable etz

Ensure to take a back-up of the file before using this option.

See attached document for definition of a Meadowbank. Information provided courtesy of the NSW Teachers Federation.
- Existing Yr12 classes are replaced with On-calls.
- A former Yr12 teacher now sees an On-call in each and every period where they previously had a Yr12 lesson. A class that ran for 9 periods is replaced with 9 On-calls in the periods where that class had lessons.
- The former Yr12 classes are taken off the Master Grid.
- The Yr12 students and classes still exist on the timetable etz.
- The timetable does not change for any other year level.
- Use the etz option File > Rollover > Yr12 to On-calls.
3. Remove the outgoing Yr12 classes and students from timetable etz
- Existing Yr12 classes and Yr12 students are removed (deleted) from the etz timetable.
- The classes for the Yr11 students are renamed with prefix '12' instead of '11' e.g. 11MAA1 becomes 12MAA2.
- School must choose 1 of 2 options:
- Yr11 students and their renamed Yr11 (now Yr12) classes stay in Yr11; no outgoing Yr12 classes on the Master Grid.
- Yr11 students and their renamed Yr11 (now Yr12) classes move to Yr12; no classes in Yr11 on Master Grid
- With each of these options, the school can also choose to convert the outgoing Yr12 classes to Meadowbanks (On-Calls).
- Use the etz option File > Rollover > Yr11 term 4 to Yr12.
- Please refer to our separate Knowledge Base document E10 - Term 4 Timetable changes for Yr11 and 12 (NSW) for further details.
