Some practical classes often need access to both a practical and theory room in the one lesson:
- Food Technology classes - Kitchen and theory room.
- Drama classes - Theatre/Hall and theory room.
Set this up in Class data F6.
In View, select/tick Easy sub-class entry.
- Right click on the class and select 'Manage sub-class'.
- The first time this is selected in a session, a popup appears describing how this feature could be used.
- Select 'Different rooms at once' and the number of sub-classes (components) required.
- A new class (11DRA.1a) is created and appears in the row below the original class (11DRA1). It is set up as a sub-class that is linked to the main class, with no students and 'None' in TeacherPref. It exists just to hold a different room.
- Specify the required room (or leave blank for subject roomset) in the RoomPref column.

Notes:
1) In this example, the 11DRA1 class wanted a second room, so we selected 2 components - original and 1 extra.
2) The new sub-class 11DRA.1a has the Subject and Link column entries hidden from view. These can be displayed if View Easy sub-class entry is unticked, but it is generally not necessary to see these.
