Preamble

Occasionally a webform has been opened for students to make selections, and additional subjects need to be added to the options.
  1. Navigate to Lines > Elective data > Courses
  2. Select the relevant dataset and year level
  3. Add the course details: CourseCode, Subject name, number of Units, and any Rules and Fees etc if required. If it is a multi-year dataset, enter the Years of the students who may select the course.
  4. Sync the data: Lines > Edval Choice > Sync
Note:
Existing subjects will not be affected
Existing student selections will not be affected
There is no need to close the form prior to adding the new course

Idea

If adding new subjects to a year level with complex rules and/or pathways it’s recommend to Close the form, add the new subject(s) and test the form.  Once thoroughly tested, reopen the form by syncing again.
